Experience Schubert's masterful song cycleYou are invited to become a part of the LiedFest by attending a masterclass with Birgit Ramsauer that guides artistic explorations of the musical work.
From Birgit:
In my workshop we will use the pictures that Schubert
developed in aspects of his cycle "Die Schöne Müllerin:
The movement of the water, pure colors, working with synaethesia -- experience of sounds, small scenes of the cycle, individual aspects how the fate of the woman could be the subject of a flip book version of the cycle.
Over the two days of the course, we will be in the cold store in Berlin, sharing the space with baritone Robert Holl's master class on the "Schöne Müllerin." In this way, the tones of music will swim in the participant's ears and let them flow into the flip book.
